Art Week in an Old Wooden House in Zemplín
We are looking for musicians, painters, creative souls, and anyone who wants to create in a place where time has stopped. In the magical surroundings of Radvaň nad Laborcom, we are bringing an old wooden house back to life.
The house is being gently improved — this is not heavy construction work. Right now we are giving one main room a new soul. We want to turn the house into a cozy haven for art.
What will we do together?
- Creative recycling: we won’t be buying new things. We’ll repurpose and beautify the space with materials already in the house, waiting for a second life.
- Visual arts and painting: if you like to paint, or work with your hands, you can help complete the atmosphere of this room — from reorganizing furniture to making small aesthetic touches.
- Music and jam sessions: we want the place to be alive with music from the start. Bring your guitar, violin, percussion, or any other instrument. We will play all day and, if the weather allows, we can also play by the fire at night.
- Creative atmosphere: you’ll meet a small group of people with whom we can share ideas, inspire one another, and create together in the present moment.
Food and accommodation
- Community meals: to keep things simple and free, everyone brings their own food. In the evenings we’ll share a communal meal from whatever people want to contribute. Free rice for everyone!
- Facilities: the wooden house offers a simple, authentic roof over your head. Bring your own sleeping bag and mat so you’ll stay warm and comfortable at night.
